Indonesia July export fell 26.67 percent from June, the lowest level since 2009. In cumulative of January-July it fell 12.02% year-on-year, according to Central Statistics Agency (BPS-Badan Pusat Statistik). What are the causes?
Following a 12.18 percent increase in export in June, many trade analysts have estimated that the growth momentum in June will continue in the following months, as demand from overseas buyers is expected to increase. But, the July export data as released by Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has broken the prediction.
