IPC Logistic Service/Multi Terminal Indonesia, a subsidiary of IPC on August 25, signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two state owned fishery compaies PT Perikanan Nusantara (PERINUS) and Perusahaan Umum Perikanan Indonesia in handling logistics and distribution of fishery and maritime products.

Witnessed by Minister of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rini Sumarno and IPC President Director Elvyn G Massasya, this remains a part of  partnership program among state owned companies or among their subsidiaries initiated by the BUMN Ministry.

The MoU relates to the handling of logistics and distribution of fishery and maritime products.

Earlier, the three companies have done a pre-MoU and jointly made analysis on handling  of logistics and distribution of fishery products, inluding warehousing,  packaging, storage, and delivery to customer. In addition, the pre analysis also meant to create cheaper logistics cost.

The MoU was signed by MTI President Director Tony Hajar Andenoworih,  PT Perikanan Nusantara (Perinus) Finance Director Ridwan Zachrie, and  Perum Perikanan Indonesia (Perum Perindo) Presodent Director Sjaril Japarin.

MTI Corporate Secretary Elis Suhan expects this MOU will encourage MTI to provide improved logistics service and help to cut  logistics cost and create efficiency.
