In a bid to run a Good Corporate Governance (GCG), total logistic provider PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI), a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (IPC) socialized the ISO 9001 – 2015 to staff and trained them on how to apply it.

The socialization and training was done at MTI office (Building 3, second floor), on Friday, August 4, 2017. 

MTI Operation Director expects this socialization and training will build staff awareness on this ISO and improve their capability and providing a more qualified service.

Banu said that improving staff capability and skill, especially in understanding the guidance of risk management quality, is so important, so they can provide satisfying service to customers.

The application of ISO 9001 – 2015 certificate, according to Banu, is so urgent as it indicates how a company can consistently create products and provide service in line with customers’ need and in accordance with the regulation. In addition, application of this ISO will increase the customer satisfaction. 

Many staff were involved in this socialization and training, from the level of SVP, VP, and all General Managers from branches of Jakarta, Banten, Surabaya, Semarang, Bandung, Cirebon. This one day training and socialization was facilitated by Ngadiyono, Advisor of Quality and Risk Management.

“The application of this ISO will start from Jakarta MTI Chapter. This is also as a pilot project for other branches,” Banu said.

The ISO 9001 – 2015 is one of standard quality certificate that can be integrated with other international standard quality certificates like ISO 14001, ISO 27001, etc.
