IPC subsidiary PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP) today, August 25, signed memorandum of understanding with state PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary of state owned oil firm Pertamina on development of bulk terminal at the office of Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

This remains a part of  partnership program among state owned companies or among their subsidiaries initiated by the BUMN Ministry.

This MoU relates to joint study on a plan for  development and operation of product terminal.

The two parties agree to make a joint study on development and operation of product terminal in Tanjung Priok Port. This product terminal will become a hub for stevedoring, storage, and distribution of oil throughout the country. This terminal is expected to be an integrated, efficient, and cheap hub.

PTP President Director Imanuddin accompanied by Corporate Secretary Kiki M Hikmat appreciated this cooperation, expecting this would become a milistone for PTP operate terminal having efficient distribution  of oil and fuel, thus supporting a better supply of fuel at the port.

"Through a partnership between and among state companies, we are eyeing to build and operate a product  terminal, especially with Pertamina Patra Niaga," said Imanuddin, adding that this company has an extensive experience in fuel supply.
