Coming to establishment year and toward its vision to digital port, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II/IPC continuously builds synergy with all port users and stakeholders. Some meetings to build synergy and to socialize some programs, including the programs in realizing the digital port have been conducted.


Today, Monday, April 2, for example, IPC conducted a sharing session - Stakeholders Coffee Morning – at IPC Head Office. The sharing session participants included IPC Direction Boards, Direction Boards of IPC Subsidiaries, related government’s port-related institutions, port users associations, port users, and some banks, the IPC press release said.


IPC has routinely conducted sharing sessions with any port stakeholders in a bid to harmonize business orientation and to optimize collaboration in the level o business executing.


The today’s session focused on strengthening solidity of any port stakeholders in facing the future business challenge and opportunity with special topic of ‘synergy toward digital era’. IPC expected that through this meeting, the port users could get inputs from any port users and stakeholders how to improve service in the future.


IPC realizes that information transparency and similar understanding between port operator and port users will become a good starting points in doing business at the port.


In its step toward a world class port, IPC has applied digital port program at its branch ports/terminals, through some online applications. All the systems have been connected with INAPORTNET and integrated with INSW (Indonesia National Single Window). In addition to build efficiency, the online system is also meant to minimize physical contact. 


For stevedoring activities, for example, IPC has applied delivery order (DO) online. The DO online has cut the time for document handling to only two hours as the cargo owners or forwarders can do it from their office without physical visit to the IPC offices. 


”All ports of IPC have been operation for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We continue to do innovation and make sure that all terminals at Tanjung Priok Port can provide fast, cheap, and efficient service to customers,” Elvyn G Masassya, IPC President Director said in the session meeting, expecting the meeting can become a media for synchronization to face business challenge and opportunity in 2018.
