IKT Cooperates with World-Class Ro-Ro Operator Wallenius Wilhemsen

PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal (IKT) manages to sign MoU with Wallenius Wilhemsen Solution, one of the biggest Ro-Ro shipping operators in the world, in dealing with the development and operation of vehicle processing facility service center (VPC), Equipment Processing Center (EPC) and Logistics services on last Saturday (6/9/2018) in IKT’s office in North Jakarta.

The agreement was signed by the President Director of IKT Chiefy Adi K and Ray Fitzgerald, who is the Breakbulk Project Manager Asia of Wallenius Wilhemsen Landbase Holding AS. It was witnessed by Arif Isnawan, Commercial and Business Development Director of IKT and Sugeng Mulyadi, Finance and Human Resources Director of IKT.

According to Chiefy, Wallenius Wilhemsen Solution is the operator of world-class VPC and EPC facilities that has run business in many countries, such as in the United States, Belgium, China, Australia and others. 

“We hope that through this cooperation, it will be able to expand our market and network in Indonesia as well as gaining the benefit of knowledge transferring in the operational, both in the human resources development, technology and equipment,” Chiefy said in the press release accepted by Indonesia Shipping Gazette on last Saturday evening.

Chiefy stated that IKT planned to build the biggest VPC and EPC facilities in Asia with total area of 14 hectares, which may cover 20,000 square meter stall area completed with digital car terminal system, and warehousing facility as a part of the spare-part management.

“At present, IKT is in the process of holding roadshow for its IPO program and is scheduled to be listed at the stock market in next July 10,” Chiefy added.
