JSSC Klaipedos Smelte in the Port of Klaipeda, Lithuania, has placed a large repeat order with Konecranes for ten Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes and two Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes. Konecranes has signed a contract with JSSC Klaipedos Smelte in the Port of Klaipeda, Lithuania, for the supply of ten Konecranes RTG cranes and two Konecranes STS cranes. JSSC Klaipedos Smelte already operates seven Konecranes RTGs and three Konecranes STSs, and they are very pleased with the high productivity and reliability of the cranes. ​CFS or Container Freight Station Center is a cargo consolidation Center that started to operate on November 20th 2017. CFS is a storage facility for imported container goods with Less than Container Load (LCL) status which still under customs control. Ports services in Tanjung Priok Ports become faster, more efficient, more transparent, and more in order since CFS Center starting its operation, with the disappearance of illegal fees in ports. According to maritime observers and lecturers of ITS Surabaya, Saut Gurning, CFS have a positive impact on import business, especially on LCL cargo. He said, the purpose of sea toll is to create a connectivity between eastern and western Indonesia so they could reduce the price disparity between the area. That is why the Ministry of Transportation always encourage to increase the load productivity of sea toll. BKMS is a joint venture company between PT BJTI, a subsidiary of Pelindo III and PT UEPN (Usaha Era Pratama Nusantara) a subsidiary of PT Aneka Kimia Raya (AKR) Corporindo. BJTI plans to sell all of their share in BKMS which add up to 40% and will appoint Public Appraisal Services Office (Kantor Jasa Penilai Publik) to do a due diligence for the valuation of BKMS shares.
