In its commitment to fostering a strong and sustainable risk culture, PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) held the annual Risk Awards 2024 for the second time. This event is designed to enhance awareness and responsibility among all employees in addressing business challenges.
Featuring categories such as Best Risk Officer, Building a Strong Risk Culture at Work, Risk Reels, and Risk Infographic, the event successfully engaged participation from all levels of employees over a seven-month period, from March to the end of September 2024.
The Risk Awards 2024 are not merely a competition; they represent PTP Nonpetikemas’ commitment to implementing integrated and comprehensive risk management throughout Pelindo’s business processes, including the Nonpetikemas services managed by the company. PTP Nonpetikemas continues to evolve through various transformations while establishing a robust and integrated risk culture across its operations.
Bambang Sakti, PTP Nonpetikemas Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management, emphasized that risk culture is a fundamental element that guides the company’s direction and actions.
“Building a solid risk culture is essential for achieving company objectives optimally. It begins with a strong commitment from top management, cascading down to every individual as a risk agent and risk officer,” he stated.
According to Bambang, the Risk Awards serve as an important tool for measuring and monitoring employees’ awareness and skills in risk management. Participants are evaluated on their ability to quickly and accurately identify risks, analyze potential impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies for various threats to the company’s operations. This evaluation process encompasses risk identification, analysis and assessment, solution implementation, and continuous monitoring.
