Taxprime is a consulting firm specializing in taxation, customs, business, investment, family office management, and human capital management. This collaboration will see Taxprime assisting ALFI Jakarta members in various areas, including advisory services related to tax and customs regulations, business and operational structures, investment opportunities and strategies, as well as family office structures and management.

Additionally, Taxprime will address human capital management, covering employee benefits and employment issues related to taxes.

Adil Karim noted that the forwarder and logistics sector has made significant contributions and that businesses in this area are generally tax compliant. However, he acknowledged that issues related to taxation do arise in practice.

“This collaboration with Taxprime will also help educate our member companies. We will discuss the best solutions for any challenges they face,” Karim stated.

He mentioned that DPW ALFI Jakarta currently has an internal Tax Team, although its capabilities are limited to advocacy. “With this MoU, if any disputes or tax issues arise, ALFI Jakarta member companies can collaborate with Taxprime to find solutions. We are doing this for our members,” he added.

Muhamad Fajar Putranto expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that Taxprime is committed to educating ALFI Jakarta members on taxation and customs competencies, including the role of digitalization in these sectors.
