Container terminal operator – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Subholding (SPTP) – has won two prestigious awards at the 2024 Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards (BILA). This year, IPC TPK was recognized in two categories: Best BUMN Subsidiary in Container Shipping and Special Award for Operational Excellence in Container Terminal Operations.
The awards were presented to IPC TPK’s Finance, HR & Risk Management Director, Yanuar Evyanto, at the Graha CIMB Niaga in Jakarta.
In his speech, Yanuar expressed his gratitude for the recognition, highlighting that these awards are the result of the company’s continued transformation in operations and service standardization. These efforts have been focused on providing efficient and sustainable container handling services.

“We are deeply grateful for the Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Award and will continue to drive operational excellence, ensuring that our services contribute to the efficiency of the logistics sector,” said Yanuar.
The Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards (BILA) 2024 is an annual event recognizing key players in the logistics and transportation sectors who have made significant contributions to the growth of Indonesia’s logistics industry. The theme for this year’s event, Andal dan Efisien (Reliable and Efficient), aims to inspire industry players to enhance their reliability, efficiency, and competitiveness, thereby boosting the national economy.
The logistics sector plays a crucial role in supporting the national economy. According to the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the transportation and warehousing sectors, which include logistics, saw an 8.64% annual growth as of the third quarter of 2024, the second-highest growth rate among all sectors. This growth highlights the significant contribution of logistics to the national economy and its role in promoting balanced development across Indonesia.
BILA 2024 was attended by key figures from the logistics and transportation industry, including Novie Riyanto, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia; Carmelita Hartoto, Chairperson of INSA; Bobby Gafur, Chairman of the Manufacturing Industry Division of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO); Mahendra Rianto, Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics Association; and the executive board of Bisnis Indonesia Group.

This year marked IPC TPK’s third consecutive participation in the Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards. In 2023, the company was awarded Container Terminal Operator of the Year, and in 2022, it was recognized as the Best Container Terminal Operator.
“We view this recognition as a strong motivation to continue improving our services for our customers. IPC TPK focuses on operational excellence through careful planning and control, and we are advancing the digitalization of our services, including the implementation of a single system across all IPC TPK terminals. These efforts are aligned with Pelindo’s focus on reducing port stay time, which in turn contributes to lowering national logistics costs,” Yanuar said.
