State port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) remain the biggest tax payer in state owned (BUMN) logistics business cluster last year (2023). Pelindo’s tax payment reached Rp 5.6 trillion, the company press statement has said.
This achievement is proof of the company’s dedication and Pelindo’s strong commitment to supporting the national economy through tax compliance. This increase not only reflects healthy financial performance, but also the company’s responsibility towards tax contributions that can increase benefits for the community and support national development.
Commending such achievement, Pelindo Corporate Secretary Ardhy Wahyu Basuki said: “The tax contribution of IDR 5.6 trillion is the result of the hard work of the entire Pelindo team who are always committed to running the company’s operations with good and transparent governance. We will continue to strive to improve performance and provide the best contribution to the country.”

Earlier, Ministry of State-Owned Companies BUMN had released tax contribution of more than 20 BUMN companies. Their total contribution has significantly increased.
BUMN Minister Erick Thohir said that BUMN transformation that continued to be carried out had also increased the company’s performance and productivity.
“Alhamdulillah, with continued improved performance, BUMN companies can contribute greatly in terms of state tax payments, reaching Rp 439 trillion in 2023,” said Erick. “This result is also inseparable from the hard work of all commissioners, directors, and all BUMN employees. Thank you to those of you who continue to fight to make a big contribution to Indonesia,” said Erick.
