Some medical equipment distributed including gynecology beds, oxygen cylinders, medical equipment trolleys, baby and elderly scales, as well as other supporting medical equipment.  This shows PT Terminal Teluk Lamong’s commitment to supporting the government in improving health services for the community.

In his short remarks for the distribution TTL Finance, Human Resources and General Affairs Director Budi Satriyo said that this activity remains a corporate social responsibility to the community. In addition, it is also TTL’s commitment to carry out activities that have a positive impact on the environment and communities around the company’s operational areas.

“We hope that this assistance can provide great benefits for the people who access health services here, so that the level of health of the surrounding community will be better,” said Budi.

The provision of medical equipment is also a form of support for government programs in efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) which has been set as a national target. By having adequate health equipment at Poskeskel and Puskesmas, it is hoped that quality health services can be improved for the community.

Head of Community Communication Association Syaichu expressed his gratitude for PT Terminal Teluk Lamong’s concern in responding to the community’s need for adequate health facilities. With this assistance, they hope to be able to provide better health services for the community, especially for the low-income community.

This medical equipment assistance is in line with the objectives of National K3 Month 2024 – improving public awareness and understanding on the importance of occupational safety and health. Expected that by having adequate medical equipment, it can reduce the risk of work accidents and work-related diseases that often occur in the work environment.

This assistance is also in line with the program of City Government of Surabaya in which it targets every district and villages for improving access and quality of health services for all. This TTL program is expected to give positive contribution in achieving this goal.
