IPCC Focuses on Capacity and Capability Building for Sustainable Growth

Indonesia’s leading car terminal operator, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC), is dedicated to enhancing both its capacity and capabilities to meet the growing expectations of its customers. By prioritizing the development of human and other resources, IPCC aims to solidify its position as a leading and competitive terminal operator in the industry.

Increasing capacity and capability is also a critical factor in supporting the company’s commitment to sustainable growth. This focus on long-term development was a central theme during the company’s 2025 national working meeting (Rakernas), held in Kuningan on February 5-7, 2025.

The event brought together the Board of Directors, the Board of Commissioners, supporting committees, IPCC personnel, and the Board of Directors of its parent company PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT), a subholding of Pelindo with core business in multipurpose terminal operation.

The Rakernas 2025 event, themed “Building Capacity & Facility Toward Sustainable Growth,” emphasized the importance of increasing IPCC’s capacity and capability. The company is determined to meet user expectations while strengthening its competitive edge in the market.

LEADER IN AUTOMOTIVE LOGISTICS ECOSYSTEM

The event kicked off with a speech by IPCC President Director Sugeng Mulyadi, who underscored the significance of revitalizing the roles and functions of each employee to help achieve the company’s vision and mission.

In his address, Sugeng urged the team to reflect on and evaluate the performance of 2024, with the goal of ensuring that IPCC remains a sustainable company focused on long-term growth and success.

Ary Heryanto, President Director of SPMT, also expressed his admiration for IPCC’s operational and financial performance, which has exceeded expectations, delivering revenue and profits beyond the target.

“We as shareholders are proud of IPCC’s achievements. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and a testament to the hard work of the team, as well as a great result for investors,” said Ary.

Rizki Kurniawan, SPMT’s Strategy & Commercial Director, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the need for both IPCC and its parent company to build a cohesive ecosystem that advances the port industry.

“This aligns with Pelindo’s vision of expanding business opportunities through both organic and inorganic growth,” Rizki explained. “We expect IPCC to continue leading the automotive maritime logistics ecosystem by excelling in operations and meeting the needs of its service users.”

In line with its strategic goals, IPCC is committed to continually improving its operational performance. The company views its 2024 performance evaluations as an opportunity to strengthen its commitment, enhance performance, and develop even more innovative strategies for 2025.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

IPCC also used this year’s Rakernas as an opportunity to engage in community empowerment activities. The company’s Community Development initiatives focused on supporting MSMEs, particularly those in the food sector, by providing essential equipment such as stoves, ovens, mixers, blenders, pans, and packaging tools to help boost production.

In the education sector, IPCC contributed by adding study tables and chairs, as well as repairing classroom floors. Religious facilities also benefited from IPCC’s support, with improvements made to prayer rooms, including the addition of ablution stations and clean water facilities.

Additionally, IPCC is prioritizing environmental sustainability through its planting initiative, which focuses on rare tree species such as the Kupa Tree, Cereme Tree, and Sandalwood Tree. This commitment aligns with the company’s dedication to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, reinforcing the sustainability theme that was central to this year’s Rakernas.
