PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator Pelindo Group, secured three major awards at the 2024 Annual Report Awards (ARA) held at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Monday.
The maritime services company took first place in the 1–5 trillion rupiah revenue cluster for state-owned enterprises, won the overall title in the same revenue group, and was named Overall Winner in the non-financial publicly listed company category.
IPCM President Director Shanti Puruhita accepted the awards alongside senior commissioners and directors, including President Commissioner R.R. Dewi Ariyani and Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management Dessy Emastari Prihatiningtyas.
The ARA, jointly organised by the National Committee for Governance Policy (KNKG), the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and five government and professional institutions, evaluates the quality of annual and sustainability reports for the 2024 financial year.
This year’s theme, “Leading with Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability: The Path to a Sustainable Future,” underscores the expanding role of corporate reporting as a measure of governance and long-term business resilience.
A total of 206 companies registered for the 2024 awards, up 23% from last year. After screening, 171 companies underwent desk reviews and interviews with judges. Assessments were based on prevailing reporting and governance standards, including POJK 51/2017, SEOJK 16/2021, the 2021 Indonesian Corporate Governance Code, and the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.
For the first time, participants were grouped by revenue into three clusters, below 1 trillion rupiah, 1–5 trillion rupiah, and above 5 trillion rupiah. The field included 71 publicly traded firms, 100 non-listed companies, 50 financial institutions and 121 non-financial entities, among them 105 state-owned enterprises. IPCM competed in the 1–5 trillion rupiah group.
ARA Jury Chair Lindawati Gani said this year’s evaluation placed greater weight on disclosure quality, integrity and a company’s ability to embed sustainability strategy into its operations. “Throughout the assessment process, the jury maintains objectivity and professionalism in line with good governance principles,” she said.
IPCM said the recognition demonstrates its commitment to transparent reporting, strong governance and sustainability practices. The company, which provides nationwide marine services, said the awards highlight its ability to operate efficiently while meeting stricter reporting expectations.
President Commissioner Dewi Ariyani congratulated the management and employees, calling the win “an encouragement to continue delivering top-tier performance and maintaining IPCM as a modern, competitive and trustworthy company.”
Shanti said the accolades reflect the company’s collective effort. “Annual reporting is not merely a regulatory obligation but an essential part of corporate transparency and accountability,” she said. “This achievement motivates us to keep improving the quality of our reporting and our performance.”
