The working visit brought together the company’s Board of Commissioners, directors and management, who reviewed terminal operations and met with local teams to evaluate business performance and operational efficiency.

The delegation included President Commissioner M. Said Bakhri, Independent Commissioners Tri Hidayat and Herry Ardianto, and Director of Operations and Engineering as well as Acting President Director Bagus Dwipoyono.

Said Bakhri said the visit reflected the Board of Commissioners’ commitment to strengthening oversight of the company’s operations through direct engagement at the terminal.

“The visit allows us to assess not only reports but also actual conditions in the field,” Said said. “We encourage management to strengthen coordination across business units, accelerate the resolution of operational challenges and implement measurable strategic initiatives so that the Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal can continue contributing to the company’s growth.”

IPCC said the terminal has continued efforts to improve service quality by strengthening employee capabilities through training, knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops, while enhancing operational facilities and productivity.

The field visit complemented the company’s review of operational and financial data, enabling management to compare performance indicators with conditions at the terminal and identify areas requiring further improvement.

As of May 2026, the Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal had handled 28,436 completely built-up (CBU) passenger vehicles, 34,760 trucks and buses, 2,663 units of heavy equipment and 349 vessel calls, according to company data.

Bagus Dwipoyono said the walkthrough formed part of a broader evaluation aimed at ensuring operational reliability and improving service standards for customers.

“We want to ensure that every cargo handling process operates efficiently and creates value for customers and stakeholders,” Bagus said. “By observing operations directly, we can better understand the challenges faced by our operational teams and determine practical measures to improve performance and achieve future business targets.”
