PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) has signed a cooperation agreement with the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office. to strengthen legal governance and support the handling of civil and state administrative legal matters.
The agreement was signed on Monday at the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office. by PTP Nonpetikemas President Director Indra Hidayat Sani and North Jakarta District Prosecutor Syahrul Juaksha Subuki.
The partnership aims to provide legal assistance and advisory support to the company in addressing potential and ongoing legal issues, particularly in the areas of Civil Law and State Administrative Law.
Indra said the cooperation reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening corporate governance and ensuring that all operational activities comply with prevailing regulations.
“This agreement demonstrates our commitment to running the company professionally, transparently and in accordance with the law. Through this synergy with the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office, we hope that potential legal issues can be addressed properly so the company can remain focused on delivering the best services to the public and stakeholders,” he said.

Syahrul said the agreement also reinforces the role of the prosecutor’s office in providing legal assistance to state-owned enterprises and other institutions in civil and administrative matters.
He noted that the port sector plays a strategic role in supporting national economic activities, including the distribution of commodities and natural resources. Therefore, legal certainty and good governance are essential to ensure that resource management and operational processes are conducted transparently and in accordance with regulations.
“The Prosecutor’s Office, through its Civil and State Administrative Law function, is ready to provide legal assistance to PTP Nonpetikemas so that potential legal issues can be anticipated and resolved in line with applicable regulations,” he said.

Under the agreement, the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office will provide legal support to PTP Nonpetikemas through both litigation and non-litigation mechanisms.
The cooperation is expected to strengthen coordination in resolving legal matters in a professional, transparent and accountable manner, while supporting the implementation of good corporate governance and the sustainable operation of the port sector.
Officials from both institutions attended the signing ceremony, including representatives from the Civil and State Administrative Division of the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office and the Internal Supervision and Legal Affairs unit of PTP Nonpetikemas.
