INSA Jaya Reshuffles a Number of Executive Boards

The Indonesian National Shipowners’ Association Chapter Jakarta (INSA Jaya) has decided to reshuffle its board of executives, replacing several members of the executive board. This decision was made during the INSA Jaya Executive Board Meeting held on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

INSA Jaya Chairman Capt. Alimudin M.Mar explained that the reshuffle aims to strengthen the organizational structure and enhance synergy with stakeholders in the port sector. He noted that some executive board members were not actively involved due to their business commitments.

“This decision was made because several board members were tasked with responsibilities at their companies, and some are also serving at INSA Headquarters,” said Capt. Alimudin. He emphasized that the addition of new management is intended to empower INSA Jaya to more effectively advocate for the interests of its members in the future.

“We hope that with these changes, INSA Jaya can better synergize and collaborate with stakeholders, particularly at Tanjung Priok Port and Marunda Port,” he added.

INSA Jaya Secretary Erwin Yahya Zubir stated that the reshuffle was based on a letter from INSA Headquarters (Number 14/DPP/10/2024) regarding the ratification of the interim management changes for the 2022-2026 period, which was received on October 4, 2024.

During the meeting, Andi Patonangi was appointed as Deputy Chair II, with the primary responsibility of overseeing the Marunda Port area to enhance the active role of DPC INSA Jaya in supporting the 28 shipping companies operating there. “Andi Patonangi will focus on increasing the active engagement of DPC INSA Jaya for these shipping companies,” Erwin explained.

The handover of the Decree (SK) to the new management was conducted by Capt. Alimudin, who congratulated the new board members. “Congratulations to the new management. I hope they can serve all INSA Jaya members effectively and maintain synergy, loyalty, and solidarity among members,” concluded Capt. Alimudin.
