Participants emphasized the need for enhanced communication between shipping companies and port authorities, particularly on matters relating to the smooth provision of pilotage and tugboat services.

Discussions also focused on the commitment of port service agencies to maintaining 24/7 operational readiness, a critical component in ensuring the seamless flow of cargo and vessel movements. Additionally, stakeholders underscored the importance of compliance with maritime safety regulations, including the timely issuance of vessel safety and classification certificates.
