The award was presented on Wednesday at Pier C of Petro Kimia Gresik Port during an event organized by Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs in collaboration with IDSurvey Group, comprising PT SUCOFINDO, PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia and PT Surveyor Indonesia.

The ASRI GSPI program assesses Indonesian ports on operational performance, environmental management and occupational safety, while promoting the principles of Safe, Healthy, Clean and Beautiful (ASRI) as benchmarks for sustainable port management.

IPCC said its participation reflects the company’s support for Indonesia’s efforts to develop ports that are more efficient, digitally integrated, safer and environmentally sustainable.

The event was attended by senior government officials, including Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Trade Minister Budi Santoso, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, and the head of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency. Also attending were Pelindo President Director, IDSurvey President Director, IPCC Acting President Director Bagus Dwipoyono and the company’s Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management.

Speaking at the event, Dudy said he expected more Indonesian ports to participate in the ASRI GSPI program.

“We hope other ports will soon join the ASRI movement. In the future, this program will not only cover maritime transportation but also other transportation activities,” he said.

Bagus said the recognition would encourage IPCC to strengthen the implementation of ASRI principles across its operations.

“This award motivates us to continue providing safe, healthy, clean and beautiful port management,” Bagus said. “We will continue collaborating with stakeholders to improve operational standards, enhance efficiency and strengthen sustainability.”

He added that the company aims to ensure its operations contribute to environmental protection while delivering benefits to surrounding communities.
