Logistics company PT Ekatama Trans Logistik – a subsidiary of Ekanuri Group (ENC), has just launched new business services of Trucking Delivery, in a bid to provide its customers and logistics activities within the country with business easiness and efficiency.
For this business, Ekatama will be supported by some facilities including 57 fleets of Head Truck and Trailers, 5 units of Reach Steaker, 17 Forklift, 4 units of rubber tyred gantry crane (RTGC). In addition, this service will also backed up by an integration system as well as professional and competent human resources.
“Hopefully, this company can become a good business partner for you (customers and logistics business players),” HM Roy Rayadi, Executive Director of PT Ekanuri Group, said in his remark speech for the Grand Opening of Ekatama Trans Logistik’s Trucking Delivery, in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 15.
Some officials from government institutions attended the event and witnessed this grand opening, including Sugeng, Head of Inspection Division at Tanjung Priok Customs Office (KPU BC Tanjung Priok), officials from Tanjung Priok Quarantine Office, a number of logistics business players, exporters, related associations, and some related stakeholders.
Roy explained that this trucking delivery service also covers activities of container delivery from Terminal Behandle of PT Graha Segara to customers warehouses.
In addition to trucking delivery, this company is also doing other business services, including air, sea, and land transportation, door to door transportation services, customs clearance (PPJK), quarantine clearance, international freight forwarding, warehousing and cargo distribution management, and transportation of heavy equipment and project goods.
He expects that Ekatama Trans Logistik will become the one of national leading transportation and logistics company with efficient, secured, and reliable services, thus giving satisfaction to customers.
Roy explained that recently Ekatama Trans Logistik had handled activities at Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT), TPK Koja, New Priok Container Terminal, One (NPCT-1), and BICT Belawan. In Priok terminals, Ekatama handled more than 4,000 boxes/month. Ekatama also handles more than 1,800 boxes/month BICT Belawan. It also handled trucking delivery of more than 450 boxes/month and service customs clearance and domestic of more than 120 boxes/month.
The trucking business, Roy said, has been connected with GPS. “We have also expanded our custom clearance service nationwide including to Batam, Sorong, Papua, Riau, Balikpapan, Manado, Makassar, and Panjang Lampung,” he said.
He explained that Ekatama Trans Logistik also supports the government program in creating a more efficient logistics, fluent flow of goods, and cutting dwelling time at the port.
