Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT), the Indonesia’s main gateway of international containerized trade, clinched double win in Top Digital Award 2020, claiming the winner of TOP Digital Implementation 2020 on Port Sector Level Stars 4 (Very Good) and CEO Top Leader on Digital Implementation to President Director Ade Hartono.
JICT achieved these awards from TOP Digital Awards conducted by IT Works Magazine. Titled “Digital Transformation & Implementation in New Normal”, the TOP Digital Awards 2020 took consideration on how a corporate did innovation within this challenging time.

This means that digital innovation and transformation is absolutely needed to find solution for building competitiveness and within the new normal era.
For JICT, wining these awards means that it had met some benchmarks for a competitive corporate, including good corporate governance (policies, institutional development, system and procedure implementation), application of digital technology, implementation of integrated systems within its units, and best services to customers and community.
IT Works Magazine also gave JICT with high grade in digital technology infrastructure.

These awards were recently presented by to IT Works Magazine at Ballroom Hotel Raffles Jakarta on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. These awards were received by Aris Hikmat Rajab, Act Senior Manager ICT PT JICT, on behalf of JICT President Director and Aries S, Manager ICT PT JICT, on behalf PT JICT Management.

Commending these awards, JICT President Director Ade Hartono said, “These awards remain appreciation and acknowledgement on any JICT efforts to provide best services and to satisfy any customers and stakeholders.”
Ade noted that innovation and application of technology, especially digital technology, are absolutely necessary within this situation of pandemic Covid-19.
He explained that JICT would continue to develop and apply digitalization system to support remote working for non-operation staff amid the pandemic Covid-19. In addition, this digitalization system will also support the management to set up business continuity plan, thus being able to response anything remotely.
Ade also noted that JICT was ready to support the government program of National Logistic Ecosystem (NLE).
