North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) has just awarded MSC with Maritime Sustainability Passport certificate and seal, thanks to this company longstanding commitment to sustainability.
This recognizes this world’s third biggest shipping company’s responsible business operations and approach to sustainability.
The certificate is awarded to companies, organizations and individuals who meet the requirements of NAMEPA’s CSR/ESG Maritime Sustainability Program which encompasses each of NAMEPA’s six transparency pillars in its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social and Governance metrics.
Stefania Lallai, MSC’ Vice President Sustainability said proudness for this award, saying MSC has a longstanding commitment to sustainability.

Meanwhile, NAMEPA’s Co-Founder/Executive Director Walker Carleen Lyden said that by qualifying for NAMEPA’s Maritime Sustainability Passport, MSC has demonstrated its commitment to stewardship of the environment, care for its employees, and responsible corporate governance.
