Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT), Indonesia’s busiest container terminal, will conduct a scheduled system maintenance on Sunday, December 15, 2024. During this maintenance period, several services at JICT will be temporarily stop.
The maintenance work will commence at 18:00 WIB on December 15, when JICT will halt online transaction services and customer service counters. Later, at 21:00 WIB, gate-in services will be paused, followed by a temporary stop of gate-out services at 23:00 WIB. Additionally, loading and unloading operations will be suspended at 23:00 WIB.
The scheduled maintenance is set to begin at 23:00 WIB on December 15 and will conclude at 02:00 WIB on December 16, 2024. JICT has assured that all services will be fully restored at 02:00 WIB on December 16.
In a Circular Letter No: 608/1/20/JICT-2024, JICT President Director Ade Hartono notified relevant stakeholders about the planned maintenance. The letter was distributed to key business associations, including Indonesia National Importers’ Association (GINSI) Jakarta, Indonesia Exporters’ Association (GPEI) Jakarta, Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders’ Association (ALFI) Jakarta, Indonesian Container Depots’ Association (ASDEKI), and Indonesian Trucking Companies’ Association (Aptrindo).
The announcement was also sent to other organizations, such as land transportation organisation Organda Ansuspel, Logindo Club, and the Indonesian National Shipowners’ Association (INSA) Jaya, and all related agencies at Tanjung Priok Port. JICT advises all stakeholders to plan accordingly and expects minimal disruption to operations once the maintenance is complete.
