Pelindo Jasa Maritim Sub-holding (SPJM) subsidiaries – PT. JPPI (Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia), public listed PT JAI (Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk) and PT Rukindo (Pengerukan Indonesia) – tie up cooperation through some works/projects.
On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the three subsidiaries signed a Unit Price Contract (KHS) on vessel docking.
The three are subsidiaries of PT Pelindo focusing on different core business. JPPI focuses business on port equipment repair and maintenance, JAI on pilotage and towage service, while Rukindo on dredging activities.
The assignment was done by direction boards of the three subsidiaries, JPPI Acting President Director Paul July Supatrio – who is also as Engineering and Operation Director direction boards of the two subsidiaries. The assignment was supervised by SPJM Engineering and Operation Director Arief Prabowo.
JPPI Finance, HRD, and Risk Management Director Roy F.H. Simanjuntak also joint the event.
Actually, this cooperation was initiated by their parent company SPJM. On his remark speech for the assignment, SPJM Engineering and Operation Director Arief Prabowo underlined that this cooperation remained a realization of Pelindo merger vision and a real step in realizing the mission to streamline the businesses.
He said, SPJM would continue to encourage cooperation and collaboration among subsidiaries, thus creating cost efficiency and a just in time service to customers.
Paul July Supatrio, meanwhile, underlined that this assignment is the beginning of more future cooperation between JPPI and other subsidiaries. “Today, we do it with JAI and Rukindo. Next, we will do it with other subsidiaries, such PT Pelindo Marine Service,” said Paul.
He said, the purpose of this cooperation is to create standardization in vessel docking schedule, in addition to standardization of payment and other commercial agreements, thus supporting efficiency.
In the future, he said, JPPI would support any other subsidiaries to optimize their performance.
