ILCS Drives National Logistics Integration with TOS Deployment at Sorong Port

PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), has extended its national digitalisation drive with the launch of the Terminal Operating System (TOS) Nusantara at Sorong Port in Southwest Papua.

The move marks the 14th implementation of TOS Nusantara since its rollout in 2022, as Pelindo pushes to unify operations across its vast archipelagic network—from the westernmost port of Sabang to Merauke in the east.

Designed and developed by ILCS, the system fully digitises container terminal operations, including vessel planning, yard coordination and real-time monitoring of loading and unloading activities. The company says the platform has significantly boosted efficiency, reduced paperwork, and accelerated customer service delivery.

“The systematisation of Sorong Container Terminal is part of Pelindo’s post-merger strategy to standardise container services across the nation,” said Frenda Rangga Aksara, General Manager of Container Terminal Solutions at ILCS. “Using a unified system helps streamline business processes, ensures consistent service, and optimises human resources, from operations to maintenance.”

The go-live process at Sorong Port was conducted jointly with Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, a subholding under the Pelindo Group. Preparations included infrastructure assessments, system migration, staff training, and operational standardisation.

Welta Selfie, Terminal Head at TPK Sorong, said the system has already improved operational accuracy and efficiency. “TOS Nusantara brings real-time updates and more precise loading and unloading data. It has also simplified billing,” she said.

Melina Sihombing, a customer service representative at the terminal, praised the platform’s ease of use. “Since the rollout, the system has become more user-friendly. We’re optimistic this will support Sorong’s continued success,” she said.
