PT Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), has officially changed its name to PT Pelindo Solusi Maritim (PSM), effective September 1, 2025, as part of a broader strategic shift toward marine engineering services.
The rebranding marks a significant evolution in the company’s business direction, moving beyond its legacy focus on port equipment repairs. The firm now operates across four key segments: shipyard services, marine spare parts and supplies, marine engineering, and dredging solutions.

“This change reflects a refinement of our business model and transformation efforts across the Pelindo Group as we enter the fourth year following the merger,” said PSM President Director Budi Pratomo at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.
The rebranding also includes a refreshed corporate identity, complete with a new logo and the tagline: Marine Engineering Solutions. According to Budi, the new name was selected by shareholders to more accurately represent the company’s current portfolio and future ambitions within Indonesia’s growing maritime sector.
Budi added that PSM is exploring opportunities to expand into additional marine-related services in the near term.

The company’s financial performance is also on an upward trajectory. As of July 2025, revenue rose 39.5% above the target set in the Corporate Work Plan and Budget (RKAP), driven in part by the early completion of several key docking projects.
“We are optimistic that this momentum will continue through the third quarter,” Budi said.
