PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways (CTP Tollways) has announced a significant toll discount for users of the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (Jalan Tol Cibitung-Cilincing – JTCC) during the Ramadan period. Effective from March 1, 2025, through April 30, 2025, commuters will benefit from a 46% reduction in toll rates, in line with the government’s initiative to ease transportation during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr seasons.
In an official statement released on March 1, 2024, CTP Tollways confirmed that this discount is part of a broader effort to support smooth logistics and transportation, especially for those traveling to Tanjung Priok Port and surrounding areas during the busy holiday season.
Yaya Ruhiya, President Director of CTP Tollways, shared that the toll rate reduction would remain in place for both the Ramadan and Lebaran (Eid al-Fitr) periods. “After thorough discussions, we have decided to extend the discount for two months to benefit both the public and logistics sector actors during this critical period,” said Yaya.
The toll discount is expected to significantly alleviate the burden on travelers, especially those making long journeys during the homecoming (Mudik) and return flow for Eid al-Fitr.
“We hope this policy will provide great advantages to both the community and logistics operators who rely on the JTCC for transportation,” Yaya added.
This initiative aligns with broader government efforts to stimulate economic activity and ease the movement of goods and people during Ramadan. As President Prabowo Subianto mentioned in a press conference on February 17, 2025, the government is rolling out several economic measures, including discounts on tolls and airfare, to boost economic growth during the fasting month and Eid celebrations.
The government’s toll tariff discount recommendation was further confirmed by Deputy Minister for Coordinating Political and Security Affairs, Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus, after a coordination meeting on February 24, 2025.
However, the Ministry of Public Works’ Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) clarified that the decision to apply the discount remains within the jurisdiction of the toll road operators, as per the regulations set by the Business Entity of Toll Road Concessionaires (BUJT).
As part of this initiative, the JTCC toll discount aims to offer more affordable access to key transport corridors and support the logistics and travel needs of the public during this important period.
