PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI), a subsidiary of state-owned logistics firm PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Industry’s Center for Standardization and Industrial Services (BSPJI) this week for a comparative study at its facility in Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta.
The visit, led by BSPJI Industrial Services Development Team Head Reynaldo Butar Butar, aimed to provide the ministry with a closer look at MTI’s export-import handling processes, including the physical inspection of goods.
“We selected MTI for this visit because of its strong track record and the comprehensive logistics infrastructure under the Pelindo Group,” Reynaldo said during the visit on Tuesday. He noted that the site visit was part of BSPJI’s broader efforts to enhance its understanding of industrial logistics operations in Indonesia.
MTI Corporate Secretary Sucahyo received the delegation at the company’s headquarters in Building 3. In his remarks, he welcomed the opportunity for collaboration, emphasizing the company’s openness to dialogue with government stakeholders.
“MTI regularly receives study visits from government agencies, private sector partners, and academic institutions,” said Sucahyo. “These engagements are vital for knowledge sharing and fostering synergy across the logistics and supply chain ecosystem.”
The visit included a presentation on MTI’s operational model, followed by a Q&A session and open discussion. The event concluded with a group photo session involving BSPJI participants and MTI management board.
MTI operates as a key logistics player in Indonesia, providing integrated terminal and cargo services across major ports in the country.
