MTI Promotes Workplace Safety with CLSR Campaign

PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik Subholding (SPSL), has intensified its commitment to workplace safety by launching a company-wide socialization of its Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR). The initiative aims to instill a stronger safety culture among its employees across all operational areas.

The internal campaign was held recently at MTI’s headquarters in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, with participation from employees both on-site and online.

Acting President Director Budi Azmi opened the session, emphasizing that a consistent safety mindset is essential to supporting productivity and safeguarding the workforce.

“Adopting a safety-first culture is not optional, it is essential across every level of our operations,” Azmi told staff during his address.

The session covered key CLSR components, including the top 10 occupational risks faced by workers and vital safety protocols. Topics ranged from working at heights and in confined spaces, to handling hazardous materials and operating in high-risk zones.

Presentations were led by Quality Assurance & HSSE Senior Assistant Specialist Hasan Suwarto and Planning & Operations Control Junior Assistant Specialist Budhi Ray. The trainers outlined real-life workplace hazards and demonstrated practical mitigation strategies to prevent incidents.

Beyond its workforce, MTI management regularly extends its safety outreach to partners and service users, reinforcing a shared commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. The company encourages all stakeholders to be proactive “agents of change” in fostering a safe working environment.

MTI Distributes Eid al-Adha Aid

In a separate initiative tied to the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha, MTI also distributed sacrificial livestock as part of its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.

This year, the company provided 16 goats and two cows to communities surrounding its logistics areas in regions including Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Palembang, Jambi, and Lampung.

“The distribution reflects our ongoing commitment to social welfare and community engagement,” said PT MTI Corporate Secretary Cahyo, who added that the donations were symbolically handed over by MTI representatives at each regional site.

The TJSL program is part of the broader PSL Group initiative to foster sustainable development and social equity through consistent community support efforts.
