SPSL Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Flood-Affected Communities in Bekasi

PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), a subholding of the state-owned port operator PT Pelindo, has distributed humanitarian aid to communities affected by recent floods in the Bekasi area.

The assistance was part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, aimed at supporting those impacted by the disaster.

The aid was delivered to communities near the Gabus Toll Gate (GT) on the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) in Tambun Utara District, Bekasi Regency. The distribution included basic food packages and ready-to-eat meals, which were provided in collaboration with PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways.

This initiative reflects PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik’s commitment to supporting communities during times of crisis, aligning with the company’s core values of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Kiki M. Hikmat, Senior Vice President of the Corporate Secretariat at PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, emphasized the company’s dedication to helping those affected by the floods in Bekasi Regency.

“We hope that this aid will ease the burden of the flood victims and ensure their basic needs are met,” Kiki said on written statement on Thursday (March 6, 2025).

One of the recipients, Aji Pratama (34), expressed his gratitude for the support. “The flood this time was quite severe, and we faced difficulties due to limited access. This assistance from PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik means a lot to us. We hope this kindness brings blessings to everyone involved,” Aji said.
