PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), a subsidiary of the state-owned port operator Pelindo, specializing in logistics services and hinterland development, is implementing several strategic measures to ensure the smooth operation of logistics during the 2025 Eid holiday period.
These initiatives are designed to support the efficient and seamless distribution of goods across the nation.
Kiki M. Hikmat, Senior Vice President of the Corporate Secretariat at PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, emphasized the importance of meticulous preparation to ensure uninterrupted logistics activities.
This includes services such as depot and warehousing management, along with the provision of additional supporting services. The company has also coordinated with cargo owners to discuss regulations regarding restrictions on goods transportation during the 2025 Eid homecoming period and to outline service plans.
“We are fully committed to providing the highest level of service to our customers. Therefore, we are focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of logistics services during the Eid period, while maintaining compliance with established operational standards and regulations,” said Kiki.
To optimize its operations, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik has enhanced its freight forwarding services, multimodal rail transportation, and other logistics solutions critical to industry and society.
A key element of these efforts is the integration of advanced digital technologies. The company has implemented automated systems and sophisticated IT platforms, including the Container Depot Operating System (CDOS), Yard Operating System (YOS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Behandle Operating System (BOS), Cash Flow Management System (CFMS), among others.
These digital solutions enable users to access services more efficiently and ensure the uninterrupted flow of logistics during the Eid holiday period.
As part of its continued efforts to support smooth logistics operations, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik has also introduced a tariff discount of up to 46% for the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC), effective from March 1 to April 30, 2025. This initiative is aimed at promoting logistics cost efficiency.
“We are committed to continually improving the quality of logistics services. Offering this discount is just one of the ways we’re working to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the national logistics sector. This effort aligns with the government’s goal to stimulate the smooth movement of goods and people during the peak Eid holiday period,” Kiki added.
To accommodate the surge in homecoming activities, the company has prepared a series of strategic actions, including road condition assessments, operational readiness for traffic management, and the preparation of transaction services. Ongoing coordination with relevant stakeholders will ensure smooth operations in both hinterland and port areas.
“As we approach the 2025 Eid homecoming season, we are intensifying our preparations to ensure that every aspect of the journey is safe, smooth, and comfortable for travelers. Our commitment is to provide the best service possible, making this year’s homecoming experience better and free of obstacles,” Kiki said.
