The agreements, signed in Jakarta on Thursday, involve PT Meratus Line, PT Tanto Intim Line, PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines (SPIL), and PT Temas Shipping.

Ahmad Mimbar, IPC TPK’s Director of Operations and Engineering, said the agreements demonstrate the company’s commitment to providing more reliable and predictable terminal services for its customers.

“The signing of the Berthing Window, SLA, and SLG is part of our efforts to strengthen our partnership as terminal operator and service users while ensuring that service expectations are consistently met,” Ahmad said.

The ceremony was witnessed by Ferrial Dunan Sidabutar, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Teluk Bayur, and attended by Andreas Kusumah Wardhana Tuelah, Operations Support Manager of IPC TPK Teluk Bayur, representing the terminal’s management.

Under the agreements, the parties will implement fixed berthing schedules and service performance commitments designed to improve cargo handling productivity and provide greater operational certainty for container vessels calling at Teluk Bayur.

IPC TPK said the arrangements are expected to increase turnaround efficiency through improved coordination and the availability of terminal infrastructure and equipment.

Teluk Bayur Container Terminal is one of the main maritime gateways on the west coast of Sumatra, supporting regional and national trade by handling containerized cargo flows.

Through the SLA and SLG commitments, IPC TPK aims to strengthen transparency, accountability, and service performance while enabling shipping lines to achieve more efficient port operations.
