IPCC Clinches Best Stock Award 2026

PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC), Indonesia’s largest vehicle terminal operator, has begun 2026 on a high note after being named Best Stock Award 2026,  Top Performer in the Mid-Cap Infrastructure Sector, underscoring a year of improving financial strength and operational expansion.

The award, presented by Investortrust.id in collaboration with PT Infovesta Utama, reflects IPCC’s performance in the capital market following a marked turnaround in 2025. Judges based their assessment on audited financial statements, citing stronger fundamentals and a sustained rise in the company’s share price.

The ceremony, held at Jakarta’s Westin Hotel in the Rasuna Said business district, was attended by IPCC’s Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management, Wing Megantoro, alongside Infovesta Utama Director Parto Kawito and invited guests from the investment community.

IPCC, which operates under the Pelindo Multi Terminal subholding of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), has benefited from both internal reforms and broader demand growth in Indonesia’s automotive logistics sector.

Analysts point to improving efficiency and a wider operational footprint as key drivers behind its recent performance.

Beyond its financial results, the company has continued to expand its business model. IPCC currently manages five satellite terminals supporting operations beyond Jakarta’s main port, while developing inland transportation services as part of its Integrated Auto Solutions strategy, a move aimed at capturing more value along the automotive supply chain.

“We thank the public and shareholders who have entrusted their investments to IPCC,” Wing said. “2026 presents a new challenge for us to continue innovating and strengthening our financial and operational fundamentals to meet the expectations of shareholders, customers and stakeholders.”

Infovesta’s Parto Kawito said the annual awards were designed to help investors identify listed companies with strong fundamentals while recognising issuers that have delivered consistent performance. “The objective is not only recognition, but also transparency and guidance for the market,” he said.

IPCC provides vehicle terminal services ranging from stevedoring and cargodoring to receiving and delivery, serving passenger vehicles, heavy equipment, trucks, buses and spare parts. The company also operates Vehicle Processing Centers (VPC), Equipment Processing Centers (EPC), port stock facilities and roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) transshipment services.

Following its initial public offering in July 2018, IPCC’s shares were held primarily by PT Pelindo II (Persero), with the remainder owned by the public. After the consolidation of Pelindo’s regional entities, ownership was transferred to PT Pelindo Multi Terminal through an inbreng process.

Today, IPCC’s operational network spans major ports including Tanjung Priok in Jakarta, Gresik, Pontianak, Medan and Makassar. The company has expanded further east in recent years, adding Balikpapan’s Semayang RoRo Terminal in 2023 and Trisakti RoRo Terminal in Banjarmasin in 2024, while exploring partnerships across Pelindo-managed terminals nationwide.

As Indonesia’s automotive market continues to grow, IPCC is positioning itself to capitalise on rising vehicle flows in the world’s fourth-most populous country, a strategy investors appear increasingly willing to reward.
