IPCC Promotes Logistics Industry Learning Through Academic Visits

Indonesia’s leading car terminal operator PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) hosted students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Indonesia at its Jakarta branch as part of an industry learning and knowledge-sharing program aimed at strengthening ties between academia and the logistics sector.

The visit introduced students to the company’s operational activities, organizational structure and the dynamics of Indonesia’s vehicle terminal industry through presentations, discussions and field observations.

IPCC said the program was designed to provide students with first-hand exposure to industry practices while encouraging exchanges of perspectives between academia and business practitioners.

The event began with a presentation on the company’s profile, operational services and strategic role in Indonesia’s logistics and vehicle terminal sector. Students also took part in discussion sessions with IPCC management covering operational coordination, human resource management, and industry challenges and opportunities.

Participants were given the opportunity to engage directly with management and ask questions related to workplace practices and company operations.

“IPCC believes sustainable performance is built not only through business transformation and operational strengthening, but also through openness in sharing knowledge with the younger generation,” Corporate Secretary Endah Dwi Liesly said.

She added that the company’s improved performance in 2025 and continuing momentum into 2026 reflected strong employee synergy, a developing work culture and a commitment to delivering broader value to society and the national industrial ecosystem.

IPCC said academic visits also provide the company with constructive external perspectives from students and academics, particularly regarding industry developments and workforce expectations among younger generations.

As part of the program, students were invited to tour the company’s operational areas to observe directly how daily coordination and operational activities are carried out at the vehicle terminal.
