PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM), part of the Pelindo group, has extended its partnership with PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk to provide pilotage and towing services at the Bayah Special Terminal in Banten, the company said on Monday.
The agreement extends an existing collaboration under which IPCM supports vessel movements at the dedicated terminal owned by Cemindo Gemilang, a cement producer operating in Indonesia.
The Bayah Special Terminal, located in Banten province, plays a key role in the company’s logistics chain, handling shipments of raw materials as well as the distribution of finished cement products by sea.
Under the renewed arrangement, IPCM will continue to provide pilotage and towing services to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations within the terminal area.
IPCM President Director Shanti Puruhita said the extension of the partnership reflects continued industry confidence in the company’s maritime service capabilities.
“The continuation of this collaboration shows the trust that has been built between IPCM and Cemindo Gemilang. We remain committed to delivering safe, efficient and professional pilotage and towing services to support smooth industrial logistics activities,” she said in a statement.
She added that strengthening partnerships with industrial players forms part of IPCM’s strategy to expand its service portfolio and support sustainable business growth.
IPCM provides ship pilotage and towing services across several Indonesian ports and works with multiple industries to support the efficiency of the national logistics chain.
Backed by its fleet and trained maritime personnel, the company said it expects the partnership to continue contributing to its partners’ operational efficiency and to its own business performance.
The renewed agreement also underscores IPCM’s role as a strategic maritime service provider for specialized terminals and industrial operators across Indonesia.
