Indonesia’s state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), known as Pelindo, has appointed Achmad Muchtasyar as President Director following a shareholder decision, the company said.
Muchtasyar replaces Arif Suhartono at the helm of the company, which manages major ports across the archipelago and plays a key role in supporting national logistics and trade flows.
In a related move, shareholders created the new position of Deputy President Director and named Drajat Sulistyo, previously Commercial Director, to the role.
The addition of the post is part of a broader adjustment to Pelindo’s leadership structure aimed at strengthening governance and operational oversight.
The reshuffle also saw several changes in other director-level positions, although the company did not disclose further details.
Pelindo has been pursuing operational integration and service improvements following the consolidation of state-owned port operators in recent years, as it seeks to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in Indonesia’s maritime sector.
