Koja Container Terminal (TPK Koja) won third place in the Corporate’s Organizational Transformation category at the BUMN Awards 2026, recognizing the company’s efforts to strengthen governance and improve operational performance through internal reforms.
The award honors Indonesian state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries that demonstrate innovation, strong performance and sustainable business transformation.
TPK Koja said the recognition reflects the company’s ongoing organizational transformation aimed at strengthening corporate governance, improving human resource capability and optimizing business processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
The evaluation process involved several stages, including document assessments, reviews of transformation initiatives and an online corporate presentation before an independent panel of judges.

During the presentation, TPK Koja’s management outlined strategic steps taken to implement organizational changes, including strengthening governance practices, developing adaptive and skilled employees, and improving operational systems to increase efficiency.
The transformation program also focused on building a stronger workplace culture, improving employee professionalism and developing more effective and streamlined work processes.
The judging panel included governance and organizational transformation experts such as Mas Achmad Daniri of the Indonesian GRC Association and Triono Saputro of BTA Academy.
TPK Koja said the award highlights its commitment to continuous transformation as it seeks to strengthen competitiveness in Indonesia’s port industry while supporting national logistics and trade activities.
The company added that the recognition is expected to motivate employees to further improve performance, strengthen professional work culture and continue developing innovations to support long-term business sustainability.
