Container terminal operator IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Sub-holding clinches the Bronze Winner Website at the category of state-owned company (BUMN) sub-holdings category from Public Relations Indonesia Awards 2022.
Commending this award IPC TPK President Director Wahyu Hardiyanto said that this proves that IPC TPK understands the information technology growth and the importance of transparency in public services, does business by in line with updated technology information and transparency principles, thus providing fast service to customers.
“Within the digital era, information should be fast and easily accessed by stakeholder. The public relation department plays key role to realize this and to fast, properly, and efficiently deliver any corporate programs to customers,” Wahyu said.
“Any information relating IPC TPK is now easily accessed, thanks to our updated and innovative website,” Wahyu added.
This is the second time IPC TPK winning the award. Last year, it event clinched double award – Silver Winner Annual Report on BUMN Subsidiaries Category and Most Popular BUMN Subsidiary at Print Media. This event is conducted by PR Indonesia Group.
“We deliver appreciation to all internal parties involved, especially the department of IPC TPK Corporate Secretary. Hopefully, this award will be our motivation in improving service relating public information,” Wahyu said.
In line with this achievement, IPC TPK also continues to enjoy increasing performance in volume it handled and the revenue it booked.
Amid the challenges of tough years due to pandemic covid-19 outbreak, IPC TPK continued to show positive growth, thanks to the innovations both in operational and market expansion strategies. Last year (2021), IPC TPK enjoyed a positive performance both in throughput and financial statement. This year (2022) the throughput and revenue are expected to grow higher.
Last year, IPC TPK throughput reached 2.7 million TEUs, increasing from 2.58 TEUs in 2020. In line with the volume positive growth, the company also enjoyed a positive growth in revenue and profit. In 2021, IPC TPK booked revenue of Rp 2.51 (unaudited), increasing from 2.42 trillion in 2020. Its EBITDA also increased.
