Delegates of Indonesia National Shipowners’ Association Chapter Jakarta (INSA Jaya) again visited two Chinese shipbuilders – Longtai Shipbuliding Enginering Co. Ltd and Fujian QianYun Shipping Co., Ltd, in Fujian Province, China.
Represented by INSA Jaya Secretary M. Erwin Y. Zubir and Vice Treasurer Pahala Sianturi, the delegates conducted a visit after getting official invitation from the shipbuilders.
On the visit, the two shipbuilders (Fujian Longtai Shipbuliding Enginering Co. Ltd and Fujian QianYun Shipping Co., Ltd) officially appointed M. Erwin Y.Z as official representative in Indonesia.
This appointment remains strategic, expecting that two shipbuilders can tie up partnership with Indonesia’s shipping companies in building new vessels.

Fujian Longtai Shipbuliding Enginering Co. Ltd located in Ningde, Fujian – China has an area of 5 hectare. This shipbuilding can build vessels of 25,000 dwt and is supported by professional human resources.
Since established in 2006, this shipbuilder has built many kind of commercial vessels and fishing boats, both for domestic and international orders.
At the dinner session conducted by the provincial business players, the shipbuilders underlined that they were ready to tie up partnership with Indonesia shipping companies. Some key shipbuilding executives that joint the dinner including Mr Chen Gui Zheng (President Director- Fujian Longtai Shipbuilding Engineering Co. Ltd) and Ms. Taifeng Weng (President Director Fujian QianYun Shipping Co., Ltd).
INSA Jaya delegates (Mr. Pahala Sianturi and Mr M. Erwin Y. Zubir), expressed their gratitude for being appointed as Official Representatives of the Fujian Shipyard Company, China.

The Fujian government is very supportive of having an Official Representative in Indonesia which is useful in introducing Fujian Province which is open to industrial cooperation, shipping, port development, fisheries and investment in Indonesia.
On this occasion, Pahala Sianturi also collaborated with the 2nd largest fishing company in China which will invest in Indonesia. “Thanks as we had the opportunity to directly see the shipyard facilities in Fujian Province, China. Hopefully, this visit will go well and have a positive impact on the development of shipping in Indonesia,” said Pahala.
