Pelindo Group Makassar builds an access road for residents of Buloa Village as part of the Company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiatives, addressing the impacts of the Makassar New Port (MNP) mega project.
The newly built access road, measuring 380 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width, was officially handed over by Basri Alam, Division Head of Human Resources and General Services of Pelindo Regional 4, to Moh. Dwi Aditya Mukhtar, Head of Buloa Village, last week.
This infrastructure development is part of Pelindo’s commitment to enhance connectivity in the area. The project aims not only to improve transportation but also to facilitate easier access for the community, particularly for the daily activities of Buloa residents.
“The handover of this access road is a tangible demonstration of our commitment to contribute to the community and support regional development programs. We hope this new road will bring significant benefits to the residents of Buloa Village,” said Basri Alam.
Local residents, represented by Head of Buloa Village, Moh. Dwi Aditya Mukhtar, welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that the new road would enhance local transportation and stimulate the local economy.
“We are deeply grateful for Pelindo’s support. This access road is crucial for Buloa residents, and we look forward to further collaborations in the future,” said Dwi Aditya.
Pelindo Group is dedicated to ongoing collaboration with the community and government on various development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents.
