As PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM) faces the challenges of 2025, the company has developed a comprehensive business strategy grounded in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. This strategy reflects IPCM’s commitment to achieving not only financial success but also creating a positive impact on the environment and society as a whole.
With a strong, risk-aware culture and a focus on ESG implementation, IPCM is well-positioned for continued growth and to deliver top-tier maritime services both nationally and globally.
This forward-looking approach was highlighted during the SPJM Working Meeting (RAKER), which focused on preparing the company for the year ahead.
At the end of February 2025, this pubic listed company held its 2025 Working Meeting (RAKER) in Ciawi, Bogor. The event gathered the Board of Directors of PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) as Subholding, along with IPCM’s Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, supporting organs, and management.
Under the theme “Navigating Sustainable Services to Build Business Resilience,” this RAKER highlighted IPCM’s dedication to growth, adaptability, and seizing new opportunities through innovative and sustainable business strategies.
COMMITMENT TO ESG-BASED SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
During the meeting, IPCM’s President Director, Shanti Puruhita, expressed gratitude for the company’s strong performance in 2024, both operationally and financially. She emphasized that IPCM is fully prepared to face the challenges of 2025 with a sustainable business strategy that focuses on ESG principles.
“Through an ESG-based sustainable business strategy, IPCM is ready to address the challenges of 2025 optimally, achieving the best outcomes aligned with shareholder expectations,” said Shanti.
In addition to the working meeting, IPCM hosted a workshop titled “Unlocking the ESG Mindset: Strategic Leadership for a Sustainable Future.” The workshop aimed to educate attendees on the importance of sustainable leadership and corporate strategies that focus on environmental, social, and governance management—key factors in the company’s long-term vision.
IPCM’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond ESG principles, further demonstrated by the continued strengthening of its risk-aware culture. A significant milestone in this effort was the signing of the Risk Management Charter by the IPCM Board of Commissioners and Directors. Furthermore, the Board of Directors, along with all Vice Presidents and General Managers of IPCM Areas, committed to embedding a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
“The signing of this Joint Commitment reflects the company’s dedication to effective Good Corporate Governance, supporting our goal of becoming a leading, trusted, and integrated maritime service provider within the Indonesian and global maritime ecosystem,” said Shanti.
FOSTERING COLLABORATION AND INNOVATION
The RAKER also underscored the importance of collaboration across all levels of management to achieve IPCM’s long-term vision.
IPCM President Commissioner, Zuhri Iryansyah, opened the event by offering an evaluation and appreciation of the company’s performance to date. He also stressed the significance of each individual’s role in advancing the company through innovation and agility in responding to dynamic market changes.
With a steadfast commitment to innovation, IPCM is determined to become a resilient and sustainable maritime company, ready to meet global challenges and contribute to the advancement of the Indonesian maritime ecosystem.
