PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), a subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) specializing in marine equipment, port services, shipyards, and dredging, held a knowledge-sharing session on risk-based auditing. The event, organized by SPJM’s Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI), was conducted in collaboration with the SPI team of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong.
This session marks a significant step in SPJM’s transformation journey toward implementing Risk-Based Audits (RBA), with a focus on digitalization to enhance both speed and accuracy in audit processes.
In his opening remarks, Jubliadi Patangke, Senior Vice President of SPI SPJM, explained that SPI SPJM is currently undergoing a transformation to adopt a risk-based internal audit approach. “To support this transformation, we are seeking references and insights from organizations that have already implemented such systems,” he said.
PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, a port entity already applying Risk-Based Internal Audits, shared its practices across the full audit cycle—planning, execution, reporting, and monitoring—using a digital platform. Through this sharing session, SPJM aimed to align its audit team’s understanding and approach to RBA implementation.
“It is our hope that we can eventually adopt the Risk-Based Audit Information System (RAIS) used by Terminal Teluk Lamong,” Jubliadi added. “The system’s user-friendly features could streamline and enhance the overall audit process.”
The session was also attended by David Pandapotan Sirait, President Director of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, who expressed full support for SPJM’s internal audit transformation initiative. Members of Terminal Teluk Lamong’s Internal Audit Team and Design Development Staff were also present to contribute to the exchange of best practices.
