IPC TPK, North Jakarta Prosecutor MoU to Reinforce Legal Compliance

IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a key container terminal operator under the Pelindo Terminal Petikemas group, has renewed its partnership with the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office in a bid to reinforce legal compliance across its operations.

The renewed cooperation was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at Pelindo Tower in Jakarta on Thursday, August 7, 2025, covering legal assistance in civil and administrative matters. The MoU builds on a previous agreement signed in 2024, which is set to expire this year.

“Legal assistance is not just a response to problems, it is an essential form of prevention,” said IPC TPK President Director Guna Mulyana. “As a terminal operator, we are committed to upholding operational and administrative compliance across all levels.”

The agreement outlines legal guidance and oversight from the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, ensuring IPC TPK’s business activities adhere to national laws and regulations. The scope includes advisory support in civil litigation and state administrative law, particularly in maintaining transparency and integrity in container loading and unloading services.

Dr. Syahrul Juaksha Subuki, S.H., M.H., Head of the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, welcomed the continued collaboration, praising IPC TPK’s proactive approach to legal compliance.

“We appreciate the trust IPC TPK places in the prosecutor’s office,” Subuki said. “We are ready to provide the necessary legal support to uphold a business environment based on transparency and integrity.”

The MoU was signed by Guna Mulyana and Dr. Syahrul Juaksha Subuki, and attended by officials from the prosecutor’s office, Pelindo Group subsidiaries, and IPC TPK’s management team.
