The Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ALFI) West Java chapter launched a new digital logistics platform during its 2025 Regional Working Meeting (Rakerwil) in Bekasi on Wednesday, aiming to strengthen collaboration and efficiency across the province’s logistics industry.
Held under the theme “Connecting Opportunities and Building Partnerships,” the meeting gathered logistics business leaders to outline strategic programs that support the advancement of the national logistics sector, particularly in West Java.
The event featured the soft launch of a web-based platform developed by ALFI Teknologi Ekosistem, designed to streamline administration, reporting, and data access for ALFI members. The system also enables users to network and form partnerships across the logistics ecosystem.
“We hope this small step will become a major leap in the digital transformation of ALFI West Java members, making our services more transparent, faster, and competitive,” said ALFI West Java Chairman Irfan Hakim.
Strengthening Regional Competitiveness
Irfan emphasized that logistics is the “lifeblood of the economy” and that West Java holds significant competitive advantages with infrastructure such as Patimban Port and Kertajati Airport. However, he warned that these assets would remain underutilized without better coordination and synergy among stakeholders.
“Connecting Opportunities and Building Partnerships means linking West Java’s 51 industrial zones with Patimban and Kertajati by land, sea, and air to move cargo more efficiently,” Irfan said.
“True partnership among ALFI members, regional governments, and public service stakeholders is the key to overcoming inefficiencies and achieving global competitiveness.”
Gathering of Industry Stakeholders
The regional meeting brought together more than 50 representatives from ALFI West Java member companies and was attended by senior figures including ALFI Deputy Chairman M. Nuh Nasution, ALFI DKI Jakarta Chairman Adil Karim, PT ALFI Teknologi Ekosistem President Director Trismawan Sanjaya, and ALFI West Java Honorary Council Member Major General (Ret.) Dr. Yudhy Chandrajaya, M.A.
The event underscored ALFI West Java’s commitment to organizational strengthening, competency development, and its role as a driver of an integrated logistics ecosystem both regionally and nationally.
