Pelindo Solusi Logistik Showcases Indonesia’s Digital Transformation at Hangzhou Trade Expo

PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), spotlighted Indonesia’s growing digital logistics capabilities at the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou, underscoring the country’s ambitions to strengthen its role in global digital trade.

The five-day event, held from September 25 to 29, coincided with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Indonesia and China, a milestone that added symbolic weight to the two nations’ expanding cooperation in technology and economic development.

Led by Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), the Indonesian delegation attended as Guest Country of Honor. Ten leading national companies, including Pelindo Group, took part in the Indonesian National Pavilion to promote the nation’s digital economy and maritime innovation.

At the expo, SPSL and Pelindo showcased a range of digital innovations and integrated port logistics solutions aimed at improving efficiency and connectivity across the maritime supply chain. The participation marked a step toward positioning Indonesia as a global hub for technology-driven maritime logistics.

SPSL also joined business matching sessions to explore partnerships with Chinese and international companies, reflecting its strategic push to expand cross-border collaboration.

“Digital transformation is no longer an option but a necessity,” said Ruri Indrasari Rachmaputri, SPSL’s Commercial and Technical Director. “Through platforms like GDTE, SPSL seeks to broaden its global network and highlight Indonesia’s vast logistics potential to the world.”

As the Pelindo Group’s arm responsible for logistics and hinterland development, SPSL focuses on end-to-end supply chain integration — from warehousing and multimodal transport to regional logistics services directly linked to ports. The effort aligns with Pelindo’s mission to build an efficient, integrated, and globally competitive maritime ecosystem.

The Pelindo Group’s joint presence at GDTE, Ruri added, reflects how digital transformation has become a cornerstone in building a faster, more adaptive, and technology-driven logistics network.
