ALFI CONVEX 2025 Records Billions in Deals, Driving Logistics Growth

The ALFI (Indonesia Logistics and Forwarders’ Association) CONVEX 2025 logistics convention wrapped up on Friday (November 14, 2025) after three days of exhibitions and policy dialogues, securing business deals worth IDR 580 billion and reinforcing government plans to modernize Indonesia’s supply chain ahead of the country’s 2045 development goals.

The event, held at ICE BSD and organized by the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ALFI), carried the theme “Indonesia in Motion: Transforming Logistics Toward Golden Indonesia 2045.” Its closing ceremony drew two senior cabinet ministers, underscoring the sector’s rising strategic importance.

Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi said Indonesia must accelerate efforts to build a modern, integrated logistics ecosystem to support national development priorities.

“Making Indonesia a modern logistics hub in the Asia Pacific is our shared mission. The logistics ecosystem is the lifeblood of the economy,” he told participants.

He said the forum had become an essential venue for aligning policy direction across government and industry, helping strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s supply chain in line with national development goals under Asta Cita.

Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono highlighted the growing role of village-level cooperatives, saying their expanding business activities would require closer collaboration with logistics players.

The government, he said, aims to equip village and sub-district cooperatives—known as Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih—with transport assets to boost rural connectivity.

“The President wants each village cooperative to have trucks and other public transport. This means 80,000 vehicles will operate at the village level to support the flow of goods,” Ferry said.

He added that cooperative-sector assets had grown by IDR 240 trillion, supported by recent funding allocations from the Ministry of Finance, and that rising business volumes were expected to drive higher community participation in cooperative membership.

ALFI chairman Akbar Djohan said the IDR 580 billion in transactions recorded during the event reflected the sector’s improving performance and the convention’s role as a key platform for business matchmaking.

He reaffirmed ALFI’s support for the government’s Zero ODOL (over-dimension, over-load) policy, saying compliance was essential to improving safety and efficiency in the logistics network.

“ALFI is committed to pushing the industry toward healthier, more sustainable logistics practices,” Akbar said.
