Pelindo Priok Marks 2025 Anti-Corruption Day with Integrity Push

Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok marked World Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA) on Thursday with a forum aimed at strengthening internal integrity and corporate governance, underscoring the state-owned port operator’s commitment to clean and transparent business practices.

The session, held at the company’s Tanjung Priok office, featured Nurhimawan, S.H., M.H., Head of the Special Crimes Section at the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office. He outlined the Attorney General’s Office’s role in corruption prevention and enforcement, including its mandate in criminal, civil and administrative matters, as well as public order.

Nurhimawan detailed common corruption offences seen in Indonesia, ranging from acts that cause state financial losses and bribery to gratuities and conflicts of interest in procurement. He noted that early detection in budgeting, contracting and reporting processes remains essential to reducing vulnerabilities in public institutions and state-owned companies.

Pelindo executives said the event formed part of wider efforts to embed a culture of integrity across operations. They highlighted the need for preventive, repressive and restorative approaches to anti-corruption, as well as consistent implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles: transparency, accountability, independence, responsibility and fairness.

“The HAKORDIA commemoration is not just a ceremony; it is a reminder that corruption is an extraordinary crime that disrupts public welfare and hinders development,” said Yandri Trisaputra, Executive General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok.

“This year’s theme, ‘Unite Action to Eradicate Corruption,’ reflects the need for collaboration beyond law enforcement and government, involving society, the media, the private sector and especially workers,” Yandri said further.

He encouraged employees to reinforce personal and institutional integrity, starting within their immediate environment and families.

The company expects the 2025 HAKORDIA commemoration to serve as a momentum to build a more transparent, accountable and competitive organisation.
