SPSL’s Commercial and Technical Director, Ruri I. Rachmaputri, said the launch of the Uni-Star office underscores international interest in Indonesia’s logistics market.

“In November 2025, SPSL signed a memorandum of understanding with Uni-Star Logistics to lay the groundwork for strategic cooperation,” Ruri explained.

“The establishment of their operational office in Jakarta is a concrete step in strengthening communication, understanding service needs, and exploring collaborative opportunities,” she said further.

The partnership reflects a broader strategy by SPSL to expand its global network and enhance supply chain efficiency. As a subholding of the state-owned port operator Pelindo, the company focuses on logistics and hinterland development across Indonesia.

“By working closely with international partners like Uni-Star, we can exchange vital information, map service demands, and provide more integrated logistics solutions that respond to market developments,” Ruri said.

SPSL views such collaborations as pivotal to reinforcing Indonesia’s national supply chain ecosystem. The company aims to combine global expertise with local knowledge, ensuring smoother connectivity for regional and international trade.

“Looking ahead, we will continue building partnerships aligned with Pelindo Group’s vision to strengthen Indonesia’s role in the global logistics and maritime network,” Ruri added. “Our goal is to deliver competitive, value-added services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
