IPCM Joins IDX-MES BUMN 17 Index as Sharia Investor Interest Grows

PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM), a provider of ship pilotage and towing services under the Pelindo Group, has been included in the IDX-MES BUMN (state owned enterprises) 17 Index, strengthening its position among Indonesia’s sharia-compliant state-owned enterprise issuers.

The inclusion follows Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Announcement No. Peng-00089/BEI.POP/05-2026 dated May 26, 2026, which named IPCM as one of the constituents of the index for companies that meet sharia principles and demonstrate strong liquidity, market capitalization and corporate fundamentals.

The IDX-MES BUMN 17 Index tracks the performance of 17 state-owned enterprises and affiliated companies that comply with Islamic investment principles. The benchmark was developed jointly by the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Islamic Economic Community (MES).

IPCM said its entry into the index reflects growing market recognition of the company’s business performance and prospects as it expands maritime services and seeks to improve operational efficiency.

President Director Shanti Puruhita said the inclusion highlighted the company’s stock liquidity and underlying fundamentals.

“The inclusion of IPCM in the IDX-MES BUMN 17 Index shows that the company’s business strategy is moving in the right direction and strengthens our appeal to investors,” she said.

The company expects the move to increase its visibility among investors, particularly institutional and sharia-focused funds, while supporting efforts to broaden its shareholder base.

IPCM provides pilotage and towage services across Indonesian waters and is part of state-owned port operator Pelindo’s maritime services network. The company said it would continue to focus on operational performance and corporate governance as it pursues sustainable growth.
