JAI Partners with LLL to Expand Market to Aceh

 

Public listed PT Jasa Armada Indonesia JAI (IDX: IPCM) partners with PT Langlang Laju Layang (LLL) for the expansion of the Aceh market. The two companies has just signer MoU on November 18, 2021, in providing pilotage and towing assistance facilities for the Ship to Ship services in Meulaboh, Aceh.

The Cooperation Agreement, signed by JAI President Director Amri Yusuf and PT Langlang Laju Layang President Director Andy Ngadimin, aims to build synergy in supporting the smoothness of ship towing services.  JAI will provide two ships to serve towing services in  Meulaboh, Aceh.

“This is a long-term collaboration. Hopefully, this will make a faster process of delivery of export of dry bulk cargo, especially the export of coal in Meulaboh area, which is expected to boost the regional economy,” said Amri Yusuf.

“PT Langlang Laju Layang is fully committed to maximizing the business potential in the Meulaboh area and its surroundings. The large natural resources in Aceh needs to be supported by a smooth logistics distribution that is supported by good port services, which is expected to increase regional economic value.” said Andy Ngadimin.

Shanti Puruhita, JAI Director of Commercial and Business Development added, “This collaboration will later be continued in other areas throughout Indonesia and is expected to contribute to the smooth distribution of national logistics.”

CSR Supports Community-Based Waste Management

In line with the growing market, JAI through its sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program supports programs to address waste issues in the community.

Located in the Bali, on Thursday (18/11), in order for the company to carry out a series of business agendas, JAI also contributed to helping the community switch to reusable drinking bottles.

JAI provides As many as 150 drinking bottles to support the culture of refilling water in the community. In addition, PT JAI also supports the weekly clean-up movement by providing 10 units of organic and non-organic waste bins for the beach tourism area in Bali.
